The Job Placement & Cooperative Education Office assists employers by functioning much as a professional employment agency... without the cost! Employers can post vacancy announcements that will be made available to all of the 14,500 students currently enrolled at Butte College, as well as graduates and prospective students.

The Job Placement & Cooperative Education Office is open to any individual or business that is seeking assistance in meeting their employment needs. We function like a personal employment agency and offer a variety of services. The basic services offered through our office include:

1) Provide employers with qualified applicants via our job board where you can post vacancy announcements, Work-Study programs, or the Cooperative Work Experience Education program.

2) Assist students in obtaining employment by providing them with information about job openings and one-on-one job search, resume, and interview assistance.

3) Assist students in obtaining Cooperative Work Experience Education (also known as an Internship or Work Experience).

4) Administer the Work-Study program that allows us to aid students in obtaining employment and helps them pay for college
